Who We Are
Wattana Khommarath is the owner and principal artist at Wattana Tattoo Atelier. Wattana’s art background is in traditional hand drawn animation and illustration, which he was able to share his knowledge through teaching for over 15 years at the college level. His unique tattoo style is best described as organic free flow linework. Being able to accommodate all styles and just to take care of people is his main priority.
Currently Wattana runs a private studio in San Diego, CA. This allows for him to take care of each client in a more focused environment, offering one-on-one attention, creating a more intimate and comfortable atmosphere for clients. By operating on an appointment-only basis, we are able to prioritize personalized attention, enhanced comfort, and stricter hygiene protocols.
Wattana also services clients out in the East Coast, primarily in the DMV area during the Spring and Autumn each year. He is also currently looking to expand his clientele network into Europe and Asia as well. Please feel free to contact Wattana for your next tattoo project.

Once they’re tattooed then that’s it, never to be duplicated.
